Legislative Committee
The Legislative Committee is a standing committee of the Washington Occupational Therapy Association (WOTA). It is made up of WOTA members who volunteer their time to monitor and influence state legislation in ways that support the practice of occupational therapy and accessibility of our services to our clients. This includes working to keep WOTA members informed and active in the process. We make a difference...and you can too!
Donation
Not every OT practitioner can take time to review the new legislation and rules that affect your career, or go to Olympia to represent the approximately 1500 Washington state practicioners. But you can make a difference by making a financial donation to the legislative committee. If you are currently a WOTA member, please click on the Member Donation link on the right side menu. If you are not yet a WOTA member please click here to join.
If you are not a member and wish to donate, please click here.
Members Only
Please note that some of our pages are accessible only to members of WOTA. If you wish to have full access to these pages, click the Join WOTA button now, and upgrade your access to this site, while you simultaneously provide the Legislative Committee with the increased support it needs to represent your needs and those of your clients.
